Welcome . . .

ANNOUNCEMENT
We will be transitioning to an electronic gate lock at the boat launch this spring. You can pick up your new key fob on April 6th from 10:00am-2:00pm OR April 20th from 10:00-12:00 at the boat launch. There will be one fob issued per household at a cost of $15, in the form of cash, check, or credit card due at the time of pick up. To obtain a new key fob, your annual dues must be current and remain current to avoid deactivation. Please keep your old key as a precaution in the event of electronic lock malfunction.

Additionally, each watercraft belonging to an HLC member will be required to have a sticker displayed for identification on the starboard bow. This sticker will be numbered and linked to your address. You may pick up your sticker(s) free of charge on April 20th from 10:00-12:00 at the boat launch. Please note, even if you do not utilize the boat launch but have a watercraft(s) on Horseshoe Lake, a sticker is required.

If you are unable to pick up your key fob or sticker(s) on April 6th or 20th, they will be available at any of the remaining 2024 trustee meetings scheduled for June 4th, July 23rd, August 25th, and October 1st.

The Horseshoe Lake Corporation Board of Trustees meetings are held the first Tuesday of every other month at 7 p.m., on the second floor of the Northfield Township Public Safety building, 8350 Main St. in Whitmore Lake, HLC Members are encouraged to attend the meetings - it's a good way to learn what's going on!

Nestled between Six and Seven Mile Roads (just east of Main St.) in the city of Whitmore Lake is one of Washtenaw County’s best kept secrets… a quiet, private lake community. While most commuters are fighting traffic Friday night to take the long drive north, this community is snuggled in for a weekend of fun, relaxation, and water sports. This all sports lake is a year-round haven for fishing and lake living. It’s located just six miles north of Ann Arbor and eight miles south of Brighton.
